Online Conference Terms and Conditions
Registration and purchase of any training module from Confidence Online (“the Provider”) is subject to these Terms and Conditions. By making the registration the customer (“the Customer”) agrees to be bound by them.
1.Registration for the Online Conference is personal to the Customer. Attendee changes are only allowed as specified herein.

2. The Provider shall:
a) produce the training module (“the Module”) as per the scope and duration as originally presented and specified by the Provider in the Registration Form, whether on the website, in .pdf format or on paper;
b) deliver the Module in interactive format between the trainer/lecturer and the audience to the Customer on a stable fit for purpose online meeting platform (“the Platform”) at the time specified in the Registration Form;
c) provide at least 24-hour notice to the Customer of the choice or change of the online meeting platform and the access details therefore
c) during the Module provide interpretation for the languages originally specified by the Provider, subject to the Customer’s requirement confirmed by the Customer in the Registration Form;
d) on completion of the Module deliver to the Customer electronically training materials, excepting any materials covered by confidentiality and copyright restrictions between the Provider and third parties.

3.The Customer shall:
a) have a terminal device (a PC, a tablet) (“the Equipment”) available at the time of the Module which can run the end-user application for the Platform or any generic application such as a web browser which can function as an end-user application for the Platform. The Equipment must be fully compatible with the Platform and must have fully operation audio and video functions for obtaining and reproducing sound and image;
b) have a broadband connection for the Equipment with sufficient bandwidth to operate multiparty online meeting software with audio and video streams;
c) be online and present within the online Platform meeting as per the meeting details provided by the Provider 10 minutes before commencement of the Module and for the duration of the Module;
d) During a Module’s delivery, in case of the Customer’s disruptive or abusive behaviour, or if the Customer’s input technically interferes with smooth running of the Module (including but not limited by background noise, positive amplifier feedback looping, etc.) the Provider’s moderator at their absolute discretion shall have the right to suspend or terminate the Customer’s access.

4.Payment:
a) Registration is only completed when full payment is made.
b) Payment of the Module attendance fee is due 3 days after the invoice date and at least 2 days prior to the date of the Module, or on the day of registration if registration is made within one month of the date of the Module. Online registrations are only valid only after full payment is received.
5.Cancellations and refunds:
a) The Customer may cancel their attendance at any time 30 or more calendar days before the date of the Module for a full refund less GBP25.00 administration fee. If a cancellation occurs later than 30 calendar days but earlier than 15 days before start of an event or a training course then the registration fee shall not be refunded but shall be reserved by the Provider on account and used towards payment for participation by the Client in other training courses operated by the Provider. The Client shall be entitled to freely choose any training course offered by the Provider but must use the funds on account within 6 calendar months of the cancellation. No replacement registrations will be accepted thereafter, and no refunds will be made.
b) If a cancellation of attendance is made less than 15 calendar days before the start of the Event, the Organiser shall be entitled to withhold 100% of the registration fee.
c) The Customer may change the person attending a Module at any time 1 working days before the event subject to the Provider’s approval which shall not be unreasonably withheld.

6.Force Majeure:
a) The obligations of a Party under these Terms & Conditions shall be suspended during the period and to the extent that that Party is prevented or hindered from complying with them by any cause beyond its reasonable control including strikes, lock-outs, labour disputes, act of God, war, riot, epidemics, civil commotion, terrorist act, compliance with any law or governmental order, accident, large scale breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, storm.
b) In the event of a Party being so hindered or prevented, the Party concerned shall give notice of suspension as soon as reasonably possible to the other Party stating the date and extent of the suspension, its cause and estimated duration. Omission to give such notice shall forfeit the rights of that Party to claim suspension. Any Party whose obligations have been suspended as aforesaid shall resume the performance of those obligations as soon as reasonably possible after the removal of the cause and shall so notify the other Party. In the event that the cause continues for more than three calendar months either Party may terminate this agreement formulated by these Terms & Conditions by giving the other Party 15 calendar days’ notice.


7.Jurisdiction:
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and both Parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.

8.General Terms:
These Terms & Conditions form the final legal arrangement between the Parties for delivery and acceptance of the services provided hereunder. Any previous communications, discussions and arrangements made by the Parties between each other become null and void at the moment of registration for a Module by the Customer.
